Ever notice how several of the large lottery winners in Ohio are from northern Ohio. Wanting to go for a drive, I combined a trip to visit the Lake Erie Shore, find the very unique angel statue, the Haserot Angel, and spend some of my birthday money on, what I hoped would be, winning lottery tickets from Northern Ohio. Read some of places we visited below.
Driving up to the Erie Shoreline, do not overlook this small park in Vermilion. The surrounding area has so much to offer. Lagoons, boating, historical downtown area, restaurants featuring local wines and breweries, and quaint shops and small town charm. https://www.mainstreetvermilion.org/plan-a-visit
Lake View Cemetery is located in East Cleveland, here you will find historic statues, famous grave sites, and unique points of interest. This cemetery walks more like a park with benches, ponds with ducks, and beautiful landscape. https://lakeviewcemetery.com/visit/points-of-interest
Nearby this lovely cemetery you will find modern restaurants, ornate churches, nice hotels and many sight seeing opportunities. The national renounced Cleveland Clinic is just down the road as well as Cleveland State and the Cleveland Indians ball field. Come to visit this cemetery and stay and explore the area.
Several websites call out these locations as good Lottery Ticket sellers, we did not have much luck ourselves with the scratch offs, $10 here and there. However, our tickets for the big games remain to be seen. (fingers crossed!) 7-11 Mansfield – Mickey Mart Vermilion – Brownie’s Market Sheffield Lake – One Stop Sunoco Cleveland.
